I received the information below and thought you should be aware that this
is in the works:

The National Atlas of the United States of America® has printed its map of
the Geology of the United States. The map is a generalization and
simplification of the Geologic Map of North America published by the
Geological Society of America in 2005. A more complete description of the
map and discussion of the major geologic features features it portrays
will be available in U.S. Geological Survey Circular 1300 (in press). The
digital data that went into publishing this map are already available from
nationalatlas.gov. The map will be available for ordering via the USGS
Store in October. A promotional product announcement was also prepared for
use by the Natural Science Network.

[Product Details:  scale is 1:7,500,000; dimensions are 28- by 32-inches;
stock number is 207470]
