In response to Angie's inquiry about a podcast for the NEFLIN Map Cataloging Workshop, unfortunately we were not able to make one with the short notice with the already assigned date and place. We are working on providing fairly soon a website for the PowerPoint presentation and copies of the additional handouts. Will notify the group as soon as it is available.

Just a note to brag on my colleague Jorge Gonzalez who did an excellent job of teaching a class in basic map cataloging this morning at SFCC sponsored by NEFLIN. There were 16 people signed up, and students came from Tampa, Orlando, Tallahassee, and Homestead as well as from Gainesville.

Thanks to Susan Moore and Paige Andrew for offering to help and for their materials that Jorge drew upon for his presentation. Jorge waved his well-worn copy of Paige's book Cataloging Sheet Maps at the class several times and read aloud from it to answer a question.
