2.  Scangraphics. Unit, Sedona  GeoServices, Inc. Hires
Ohio State University Center For Mapping Talents
To Manage New Facility
 
Limerick, PA.- September 29, 1997 - Sedona GeoServices, Inc., a
subsidiary of Scangraphics, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCNG)
announced today that Mary Tabler-Yosha and Eric Cordle, formerly
of The Ohio State University Center for Mapping
(OSU/CFM) have joined the company as Managers of Program Development.
They will also manage Sedona GeoServices' new Ohio facility,
located at 2740 E. Main Street, Bexley Ohio. Both Tabler-Yosha and
Cordle were instrumental in the success of the Generating Information
for Scanning Ohio Maps Project, a four-year Innovative Partnership
between five State of Ohio Agencies, the OSU/CFM, the United States
Geological Survey (USGS), and the private sector,
which required the digitization of 793 7.5' USGS topographic map
quadrangles into DLG-3 data format.

Concierge Service, Featuring Content from Mobil Travel Guide
