Folks: we have just ten more open seats for this summer's hottest ALA
pre-conference ticket on July 10 from 9am to 1pm: *All Government
Information is Local: Building on a Century of Local and Regional
Information in Libraries *to be held at the Cheney
Mansion<http://www.cheneymansion.com/>in Oak Park.
**
Not only is this preconference a shared venture of GODORT and MAGERT (and
who can resist supporting cooperative initiatives among ALA's roundtables?),
and generously underwritten by the good folks at Lexis/Nexis, there
is another bonus to jump at this last chance to participate.

Those lucky enough to snag the one of the remaining seats will join the
other pre-conference attendees in an exclusive walking tour sponsored by the
Frank Lloyd Wright Home and
Studio<http://www.wrightplus.org/homestudio/homestudio.html> shortly
after the program ends at 1pm. This is a private guided tour by one of the
Home and Studio's resident docents and will feature Wright's life, work, and
examination of some of the best examples of his architectural treasures in
Oak Park, along with a special emphasis on his influence on urban planning.

Find the program's details and scheduled speakers here
http://connect.ala.org/node/74692

So don't wait. Only ten seats left. If you want to register onsite for this
event, please drop me a line.

John
