The National Library of Scotland in Edinburgh is currently seeking to recruit a:

Map Services Manager

(Job share 2 to 3 days per week)
£22,273 - £29,512 per annum pro-rata

As a member of the Map Collections Division management team, you will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating the day-to-day work of the Division relating to services provision.

You must have good leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and encourage staff. An effective communicator, you will have to prioritise and manage a diverse programme of work and deliver to deadlines. A good knowledge of, and an interest in, maps and geographic information are essential. A good knowledge of history, geography and culture of the world, but especially relating to Scotland, would be an advantage.
