• How market segmentation data is used in the real world to solve
business problems
• How students and faculty use this data on projects that provide value
to their institutions and communities
• The role of academic libraries in providing this data to faculty and
students

Speakers include Lisa Bogaty, professor of Business and Computer
Technology at Pellissippi State Community College and Bill Kovack,
professor of Business at LaGrange College. Both will share examples of
student research projects utilizing Tapestry Segmentation and
BusinessDecision. These tools are applicable to a variety of
disciplines, including business, planning, sociology, planning, public
administration and health policy.
