Hi and Aloha (I was on vacation for a couple of weeks on Oahu)

As you can see, the original report is from 2004...and I have been hearing about it for a few years...but nothing really in motion yet.

Also, some of the states (like Washington) have gone ahead and done some digitalization of documents (see State Library).

Nothing really organized nationally, though.

If you are attending the ALA Midwinter Meeting in Philadelphia, please consider joining the GODORT Rare and Endangered Government Publications Committee to discuss an ongoing project about preservation of print government documents published between 1932 and 1962 and a potential joint project with the State and Local Documents Task Force inventorying projects that aim to preserve state government information in electronic format.
