David, Colleagues,

I have already written about a nine page response to Kellor's article that I
hope Cartographic Perspectives will publish in the next issue. One of the big
flaws in his argument is that he assumes that all users of map libraries in
the future will be like he is (an expert GIS user). This is simply not true.
Most map libraries have a diversity of users and thus need a diversity of
information resources to meet their needs.
