Geologic Atlas of Texas Now More Accessible

The Groundwater Resources Division is happy to introduce to you a new
way of accessing the Geologic Atlas of Texas scanned sheets at the
1:250,000 scale. The new approach allows anyone with internet access
(not necessarily a fast one) to browse through the sheets using zoom and
panning tools. An overview window allows users to quickly move between
the area of interest and the legend without getting lost in the millions
of pixels. To view the sheets you will need to have Adobe Flash (
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ ) installed. The atlas can be
accessed at:
