Dear Fred Schaff:
Thank you for your kind reply! DeLorme maps are a splendid idea.
I have used DeLorme maps before and found them to be accurate enough for my
uses. I think these maps are great, but sometimes I prefer to use the
individual USGS map quadrangles to save space in a knapsack or backpack if I
am planning to stay within the area(s) described, such as my favorite areas
of the Cleveland National Forest in San Diego and Riverside counties.
