        Agreed.  I too like to hear about new and oftentimes elusive
        cartographic publications of all types.  I see no problem with
        members lsiting new products, prices, addresses, etc.  Just that
        vendors, publishers, etc. should not use the NET to vend their
        wares.  If a vendor wishes to "tell" someone of a product and that
        someone lets us know about a new product, there is no problem and
        is in keeping with the protocol of the NET.  INTERNET is always
        being closely scrutinized by very conservative political types
        (Helms etc.) and they are always looking for any good reason to
        close it down.  The initial operating guidelines for operating the
        NET address this issue.
