    We have a patron who is looking for a list of the most
    frequently used town name in each of the fifty states.
 
    We already located the most frequently used town & city
    names for the U.S. as a whole in J. N. Hook's ALL THOSE
    WONDERFUL NAMES. I know this is not "maps" per se but
    the question was referred to us by another department
    who had already searched their place name materials.
    We can think of several tedious ways to arrive at an answer
    but nothing quick.
    MAPS-L readers usually manage to come up with good answers.
    Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
