Hello--

I'm trying to map a water route across America, from the Golden Gate
Bridge to the Statue of Liberty, as straight West to East as possible.
This project is for a community pool, where swimmers log their mileage
for a theoretical relay "swim" across the country. This is one of
several projects to keep people fit and active.

Can you be of any assistance? I am looking for water routes of any
type, including lakes, rivers, creeks, tunnels, etc., with a minimum of
portaging. I would appreciate any help you can offer, as I am
overwhelmed trying to tie together state maps and haven't had much luck
through the internet.
