hi all;

We are trying to find references to a place name in Guatemala. It is called

Tonimante

and is in Alta Verapaz.

I went through all the gazetteers. Geonet has nothing even close, and some
other resources I hunted did not show anything. Even Google searches hit
nothing.

My guess is (and I tried a few variants) that either the name cited is
slightly different, or the place is something other than a municipal
settlement (e.g., with a governing jurisdiction).

I asked the person to provide more details if possible so that I might be
able to take a look at my large-scale maps to see if it shows up anywhere.

Otherwise, I hope maybe someone in map land happened to have seen such a
place name before.
Thank you.
