Is MAPHIST-L a newsgroup or only a Listserv? If the latter, then it is
a problem to subscribe because postings clog up my personal email and
use up precious space on the main system (i.e. messages may be
duplicated to multiple subscribers). If it is a newsgroup, I would be
most interested in signing up as I can easily thread my way daily
through the topics of interest that pop up on the lists I am
subscribed to through the newsreader. Unfortunately, MAPHIST hasn't
appeared on the list of new newsgroups here. David Cobb, can you
elucidate? ...
