The Seattle Public Library is discarding a number of old Canadian maps that
were a part of our Science Department. As a result of our move to a new
Central Library and changes in our map collection development policy, we
are unable to retain and care for these maps. They need good homes, and we
are willing to ship them if mailing costs are reimbursed.

I have attached a list of maps which has just a minimum amount of
information about each map. I have had only a brief amount of time to
handle the maps to get an idea of what is there. Some of the maps are
fragile and tattered. If there is not enough information for you to decide
if you want any of the material, I will be happy to get you more
information, but it may take me awhile. Since the maps are at our off-site
storage location, I don’t get a chance to go out there but once every two
weeks.
