Hello list,
I am a PhD student at Melbourne University trying to locate large scale
(1:63 360 or 1:50 000 or larger) maps of the Inida-Bangladesh border,
particularly the area of exclaves around Cooch Behar. The 1992 Indian
Survey catalogue I have strangely shows no 1:50 000 sheets for this area,
or for most of the entire border, and only 1 or 2 1:25 000 sheets. In any
caser these will be almost impossible for a foreigner to access.
The British surveys pre 1947 did cover the area in itrs entirity and would
be most serviceable. I have obtained xeroxes of most of the 1:126 720 and
1:63 360 sheets I need for this area. Does nayone out there have or have
access to a collection which contains any of these series? A3 or A2 xeroxes
would be fine, or I am willing to buy.
Please email me if you may be able to help and I will let you know exactly
which sheets I am after.
Thank you

Brendan Whyte
