        The late Dr. George Kish while at University of Michigan-Ann Arbor
        had conducted research on the Piri Reis map in question.  I have
        somewhere in my personal files (unfortunately not cataloged nor
        entered in Pro Cite or other program) a copy of an article that Dr.
        Kish had published.  You may search indexes under Dr. Kish's name
        for additional information on this subject. Kish may also be
        entered as "Kiss."
