         WAML Salt Lake City Meeting
 
Hey, mapfolk:
 
        WAML will be meeting next week (September 15-17, with
        a field trip on the 18th) in Salt Lake City.  Wendy Hassibe
        of the USGS ESIC will be our host.  If you want more information,
        contact Wendy at 801.524-5652, or via the internet at
        whassibe#usgsresv.bitnet.
 
        FOR THOSE WHO ARE ATTENDING:  the **WAML Executive Board**
        will meet on Wednesday, 9/15 from 2 - 4:30 pm in the Federal
        Building, Room 1214.  President Sylvia Bender is faxing agendae
        to all attendees at the last Board meeting in San Francisco,
        but if you don't get one by Friday noon or so, call her at
        916.327-1850 and ask her to fax you a copy.

          WAML update
 
The Executive Board meeting will be held Wednesday, 9/15 in Room
1214 Federal Building, 125 S. State Street, SLC.  It will be in
the afternoon - exact starting time will be sent in a day or so.
 
Re: the WAML welcoming picnic Wednesday 9/15 - it will begin around
6pm at Red Butte Gardens.  Please send your FAX number to Wendy Hassibe,
[log in to unmask] and I will fax the map to you.  Cost is
$5.00 for the picnic and we can collect at registration Thursday monring.
Registration will begin at 8am, Thursday, 9/16 in Room 2402 Federal Building
