One of the faculty here at Georgia is going to travel to Paris. He wants to
replace his 1961 "Blondel La Rougery" map of Paris with a new edition. The map
has a street map on one side and a bird's eye view on the other. He wanted to
know if he went to the address listed on the map he could get a new edition.

Does Editions Blondel la Rougery still exist as a mapping firm? Is their
address in Paris: 7, Rue Saint-Lagare, 9th Arrondissement. Do they publish
this map? Or provide the map to other publishers? If they are gone has
another publisher picked up their maps?

This is an e-mail request that came to me and I have not seen the map. I have
nothing associated with this map publisher after about the mid-1970s. Does
anyone have any ready reference info to answer this question?

Thanks,
