Subject: Colombia 1:100,000 topo maps

Dear Map Librarian;

We will have a map buyer in Bogota in two weeks, primarily to obtain
the new series of Colombia 1:100,000 topographic maps.  We are
accepting pre-orders for sets of this series.

Details:
a)  scale = 1:100,000
b)  dates = 2008-
c)  main contour interval is 100 meters
d)  available sheets = 479 sheets (+/-)  of approximately 575 sheets
for complete coverage.
e)  Color plots, not litho-printed sheets.  Sheet size approx. 80 x 50 cm.
f)  Available on either regular plot-paper or on
water-resistant/tear-resistant synthetic paper
g)  Price:  $15/sheet on paper ($7,185/set), $20/sheet on
water-resistant paper ($9,580/set)

Attached are three images:
a)  a very small index map.  Sheets are numbered from top to bottom,
left to right, starting at sheet 1.  The index does not show available sheets
b)  a thumbnail image of a sheet
c)  an image showing the basic detail of a map.  The image is poor
quality and the contours are hard to see.
