Subject: Re: NG maps on CD-ROM

Thanks to the folks who replied, both on and off the list, to my
question regarding the number of CDs in the set of National
Geographic separate fold-up maps on CD-ROM.

The consensus seems to be that there are currently 8 CDs in
this set, although they may also send along another promo disc,
such as a sample of a year's worth of the magazine itself on
disc, etc.

There seem to be 30 discs in the set covering the magazine text
and photographs from 1888-1996, although this is being updated.
