Subject: Malaysian 50k topos & town plans

Someone enquired about JUPEM, the Malaysian Dept of Surveys and MApping
a while back. There used to be a bit of a response problem with them.
That now appears to have been fixed, and there are a lot more 50k topos
and large scale town plans available to the public (inc. 50k topos of
KL, Penang, Labuan Fed. Terr., etc)
The online JUPEM website link to their catalogue appears to have gotten
lost.
Here it is:
http://www.jupem.gov.my/duct_f1.htm

Sheets are M$10 each. The M$ is pegged at 3.6 to the US$.
They appear to accept prepayment in M$ only.

Contact JUPEM at:

The main website is at
http://www.jupem.gov.my
and there are parallel English and Bahasa Malay versions.
There are links here to each state's mapping dept, but the topos and
town plans are all available from the central federal office.
