Those who have been subscribers to this list for over a year may recall my
post from awhile back, regarding whether there are any other generic
geographical terms for a "triple divide".  (Incidentally, the only other
term of which I'm aware is a "three-way watershed".)
 
Anyway, that post was in preparation for this:
 
I'm in the process of trying to get an officially recognized name for what I
consider to be a very special triple divide.  I've created public links to
dozens of my web pages, which explain the whole thing.  Basically, from what
I can tell, this mountain is one of only five points in the continental U.S.
that drain to three completely different places in the ocean.  If there is
any interest among the listmembers, I would be grateful for any feedback
from you before I begin publicizing the website to others.  Please visit the
