Linda, thanks for the post on DOQs.   The thing to bear in mind is that
once you make ONE CD, extras should cost less than $1 ea. for this number
of masters (3500).  So the cost of a complete set is much less than a
car (given that you are going to do the project at all).  Now each library
should decide, IF IT WERE THE LIBRARY'S OWN MONEY (which in some sense it
is as we are all taxpayers), just how many they want.  The state for a
hundred or two, probably, the country for $3500, maybe not.
