MAPIST (from Turkey) announces its new web site with English version. It is
very young, will grow up soon, but gives information about the services of
MAPIST.

Here are the maps that we can supply from Turkish governmental sources .


1) The full set of 71 sheets of 1:250 000 scaled maps of General Commander
of Mapping. This set is the new series with the contour lines
included. Covers the whole country. The publishing dates are from 1971 to
2008. Most of them are published after the 90s. Every map library must have.

2) Turkish Forestry Maps: 1:100 000 scaled maps, are a set of 366 sheets,
covers the whole country. The publishing dates are from 1978 - 1999.
This is the only and the most used cartographic material about the colorful
forestry of Turkey. Most of them are published after the 90s.

3) Turkish Geologic Maps: Turkish Geologic Maps are mostly 1:100 000 scaled
maps, 1:50.000 scaled maps, 1:500 000 scaled maps and some small scaled (
1:500 000 1:1.000 0000 - 1.2.000 000 ) maps. They are more than 200 sheets,
in different scales.. Most of them published with booklets. Their publishing
dates are from 1990s to 2009.
