I have heard about some software, which I believe is called EDRISI.
Does anyone use this to display DOQ's or other digital data from the
U.S.G.S.? We are a small, undergraduate departmental library and also
are a U.S.G.S. depository. Faculty members are interested in
obtaining software that will allow them to access the digital data we
receive, and work on a very basic level. Does EDRISI sound like
something we would find useful?? Do those of you with partial GIS
systems recommend something else?

Thanks, in advance, for your comments!
