You may not like microfiche, but the DMA gazetteers come out on
fiche, too.  I don't know the purchase price, but it's surely
less than $280.  Since they're not copyrighted, you could get
fiche duplicates from another library probably for just a few
dollars.

I had been hoping to find an on-line gazetteer for Sweden. Barring that, I
was going to purchase the Defense Mapping Agency's 2-vol 1989 set, but
can't afford the $280. Does anyone have a copy of the 1968 version
collecting dust somewhere for possible purchase, or approx. 2 month loan?
