The University of Minnesota Libraries invites applications and
nominations for the
position of Curator of the James Ford Bell Library, a world renowned
collection of rare
books, maps, and manuscripts documenting relations between Europeans and
non-
European places and peoples in the period 1400 to 1800. The collection
focuses on the
interplay of commercial, geographic, political, and religious contacts
between Europe and
the rest of the world in this early period.
