The following was originally posted to the MapHist listserver by John
Hessler at the Library of Congress. Mary Larsgaard and I sincerely
appreciate John's note to that group, and we apologize for sending a
duplicate message to those of you on both lists. We would appreciate
this information being shared on other appropriate lists to those who
may be interested in our theme issue on historical cartographic
materials. Finally, if anyone has questions about this issue of JMGL or
any others, or especially is interested in contributing articles to the
journal, please don't hesitate to contact Mary and myself.

Sincerely,

Paige Andrew
