IACG now has a home page:

http://www.geocan.nrcan.gc.ca/iacg/

In addition, the *1994 Candian Geographical Information Systems Source Book*
has just been published and contains more than 300 company profiles and contact
names, inventory of govt. geo-referenced data, profiles of 46 universities and
colleges offering geomatics education, etc.

$39.95 Geomatics Industry Assoc., 1204-170 Laurier Ave. West, Ottawa,

In addition there is a major new resource on the National Atlas home page

http://www-nais.ccm.emr.ca/

It is placed under Map resources - Fifty Years of Canadian Atlases:

A complete list of nearly 300 atlases of all kinds published in Canada on all
topics since 1945. Derived and enhanced from a chapter of the yet to be
published Men & Meridians Vol.4.

Categorised by atlas type and with short form bibliographic entry taken from
National Archives listings with many additions.

No annotations and descriptions as yet (translation priorities).

Any corrections, additions etc. welcome. After a trial period suggestions are
invited for a possible publication co-venture.

Regards

Iain taylor
