Dear MAPS-L Friends,

Mexico Maps is happy to announce its new status as an Authorized
Reseller of the INEGI "SERIE II" 1:50,000 scale topographic maps in
digital format. All 1700 (+/-) of these DRGs are now permanently in
stock and available by FTP.

 - These Series II digital topographic maps (digital raster graphic
or DRG) consist of a set of two images (TIF and GIF) and a pair
calibration files in WORLD format. The images are viewable on your
computer using a variety of software - GIS and non-GIS. The DRGs can
also be imported into Oziexplorer software to interface with a GPS
receiver on a PC.

 - INEGI's orthophotos are also available through Mexico Maps.
Orthophotos are in BIL format. Conversion to JPEG is available.
Delivered by FTP or on CD as needed. 1:20,000 scale (approx.).

Another new product: Commercial GPS maps for Mexico from two
publishers, BiciMapas and Garmin.

 - BiciMapas' titles include the Mexico Atlas Topographic GPS Map
($155) and the Copper Canyon Topographic GPS Map ($44) among others.
Available by download.

 - Garmin's Mexico title is called City Select Mexico NT ($249.99)
and was released in April 2006. It features auto-routing for Mexico
and includes the voice guidance. Coverage is limited to Mexico City,
Monterrey and Guadalajara and the toll-roads leading into these
cities from the borders. This map is provided on preprogrammed SD and
microSD cards.

Call or visit our web site for more information.

Regards,

Mark
