Hello everyone! I volunteered to forward this important announcement
regarding a well-known award opportunity for those of us in the
technical services (library) side of things. Please note that the
deadline for nominations is FAST approaching. Also note that the Online
Audiovisual Catalogers (OLAC) organization considers the cataloging of
cartographic materials to fall within their scope, and thus map
catalogers everywhere are under consideration for this award as well,
not just folks who work with music, videos, and the like. Thanks!
