Greetings,
I've noticed that it's been a while since I last received any new Landsat
Microcatalog microfiche from EROS Data Center. In fact, the last little
envelope was marked "446" and was postmarked Apr.'93. I understand that
Landsat 6 has failed and is on the bottom of the Pacific somewhere, but
aren't Landsat 4 and 5 still operational and collecting data?

I tried writing to EROS by snail mail and got a somewhat cryptic handwritten
response saying that they "are not making Landsat microfiche because the last
possible date for Landsat 4-5 is mid October 1992".

Could someone who receives the Microcatalog please verify that envelope #446
is the last one to be issued, and also if someone could fill me in on the
status of Landsat 4-5, I would greatly appreciate it.

Aloha,

workshop was GREAT! Nice to meet
some of you there, and to learn
more about GIS. Spam was cheap in
                                          Iowa, too!
