Subject: Wall Map Southeast Asia

Hello:

I teach an undergraduate course on Southeast Asian politics. Decades ago I
used an immense Haack map. About 8 or so years ago I replaced it with a
large (but not SO large)English-language spring-roller physical map called
"Southeast Asia" but which covered from a tip of Australia in the bottom
right corner to the northermost part of China at the top. I usually used it
rolled half way down - to show only Southeast Asia - but rolled it all the
way down to bring China into the picture. My "China" colleagues could use it
for their purposes too. A truly beautiful map.

The map went missing at the end of last semester, and I am trying to replace
it. I do NOT remember the name of the publisher/map maker. Hours with Google
and Yahoo have been fruitless. I have come across a huge Klett-Perthes wall
map - very expensive and too large. Its coverage is, however, just about the
same as the map that has gone.

I am writing, then, to ask if anyone might be able to identify the map that
vanished. Or suggest an alternative.

Thank you in advance,

Donald Hindley
