ArcGIS supports jpeg2000. As a library, images from a contentdm collection would need to be exported in another format in order to bring them into ArcGIS.

Currently, compatible formats are:

http://webhelp.esri.com/arcgisdesktop/9.3/index.cfm?TopicName=Supported_raster_dataset_file_formats

With the release of ArcGIS 10, more raster types will be supported, but CONTENTdm reading was not mentioned.

Hi All,

Does anybody have experience in using jpeg2000 images or CONTENTdm
images in a GIS? If so, what GIS software was used?

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

John
