My vote is for all map stuff to be posted to Maps-l.  The subject line
should tell us if we are going to be interested.  There is not an
impossible flood of messages now, and surely a topic even more specialized
is not going to change things much.  I like the idea of seeing items that
are on the edges of my main  interest.  I would not subscribe to the new
Listserv, and may miss things.
