Call for Nominations for 2010

The Mary B. Ansari Distinguished Service Award recognizes a person who
has made significant contributions to the profession of geoscience
information. The Mary B. Ansari Distinguished Service Award Committee
now invites nominations for the 2010 award

To nominate someone please send the nominee's name, title, contact
information, resume or curriculum vita, and a statement not to exceed
700 words indicating why the candidate is deserving of this award.
Additional letters of support are welcome along with the nomination.
Two or more people may wish to collaborate on a single nomination.
Note that the nominee need not be a GSIS member.

Send all materials to the Committee Chair Patricia B. Yocum,
[log in to unmask] by May 31, 2010. Electronic submission is much
preferred.
