I've seen USGS series maps (Geologic quads, Scientific Investigations,
etc.) stored in filing cabinets and Princeton files.

Here at UC Surf Board we keep lesser used ones in open re-used photocopy
paper cartons.  While functional, it's dusty and the items on the top
shelves are exposed to light and dust.

Other than the above solutions, how do you keep yours?
