I'd like to pass along this announcement for the 2nd annual South East
Voyager User's Group Meeting.

SouthEast Voyager User Group Meeting (SEVUGM)

SEVUG is a regional group consisting of Voyager sites from Alabama,
Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida. We
welcome the participation of any interested Voyager sites.

--PRECONFERENCE--
Monday, July 22, 2002
8 am to noon
Presenter: Gary Strawn
Title: Programming with the BatchCat interface

The BatchCat interface supplied with Voyager 2000 allows programmers at
local institutions to write programs that create and update
bibliographic, holdings, item and authority records. Examples of the
kinds of programs possible with the BatchCat interface include
customized loaders and  programs to make changes to records in bulk.

Attendees will gain an understanding of the structure of the BatchCat
interface, and will participate in the construction of a program that
will be used to make changes to a live Voyager database.

Cost of registration: $75
