Subscribers,

I have a patron who is seeking a map that may not exist any many libraries,
so I could use some of your expertise. The patron is looking for an 1840
map of Randolph, Massachusetts that he found in the footnote of a
publication, that neglected to give any additional information (publisher,
cartographer, etc.). After searching in the public library of Randolph (and
discovering their copy was destroyed in a fire) and finding no copy at
several research repositories here in Boston, nor records in several library
catalogs, nor on OCLC, I was curious if anyone recognizes this map as a part
of their collections?

I apologize for not having more information, but our library does not have
any good printed bibliographies of maps to help.

Feel free to e-mail me directly at: [log in to unmask]

Many thanks,
