Subject: the Scale on the Road Map to Peace, ala Daily Show

This week on the Daily Show (Comedy Central) they were talking about the
Road Map to Peace in the Middle East. Someone asked how long they
projected it would take to get peace. The response was 6,000 years.

It was suggested that the problem was, no one had looked at the scale of
the map. They then zoomed in on the scale of their simplified road map
of the area: 1 inch equals 500 years.

A very interesting use of a geographic tool, bringing cautious laughter
because it might just be true.
