Subject: Legal descriptions of Bexar Co, TX boundary

Hi,

I have a patron who is looking for any existing legal descriptions of
the Bexar County, TX boundary to validate an existing county boundary or
generate a new one. He has established that existing state and federal
GIS county boundary files are mostly based on USGS sources (digital line
graphs and topo quads), and is looking for documentation that might have
served as the basis for the 1970 USGS National Atlas, which seems to be
the source of existing digital county boundary files. Is anyone aware of
any such legal descriptions?
