Our collection doesn't have the necessary historical depth to answer this
one.  A patron is interested in obtaining a copy of a map of Cayenne,
French Guiana, from 1940 or earlier.  I believe he was interested in the
city, not the department.  He would like a map showing the city as it was
BEFORE the US built an airport/airstrip in the early 1940's.
 
Anyone out there willing to talk to this person?
