Subject: National Geog Maps vs National Geographic on discs
 
 
 
I hate to contradict the National Geog. Store when phoned because their online
information does not list number of discs.
 
By actual count of discs in hand:
 
   Complete National Geographic: 108 years
           v. 1-190, 1888-1996   30 discs  purchased late 1997
       109th year purchased separately:
          v. 191-192, 1997       1 disc   purchased late 1998
 
   National Geographic maps      8 discs   purchased late 1998
       The contents are not listed on the discs, but there is a list
        of maps in the user's guide without specifying which disc
        holds what maps.
 
Please do not contact us about use, because we are too busy currently
to have viewed the discs.
