Learn about GIS and its uses in schools, libraries, and museums at the Int'l
Conference on GIS in Education, July 17 - 19 in San Bernardino, CA.

The deadline for submitting proposals for presentations is February 29,
2000. We would like to have a session organized around Metadata &
Cataloging and another organzied around Data Clearinghouse projects. If you
have suggestions for other topics, or would like to make a presentation on
one of the above topics, please let me know. Registration and proposal
forms can be downloaded from
http://www.esri.com/industries/libraries/ed_conf.htm .

Also, there will be a one-day pre-conference workshop (Intro to GIS in
Libraries) for those wanting a hands-on introduction to ArcView GIS and
internet-based mapping.

See you in San Bernardino!
