GIS/Programming Specialist
American Forests is seeking a GIS specialist for its Urban Forestry Department.
 Primary responsibility will include ArcView/Avenue programming for American
Forests' desktop software CITYgreen. Other responsibilities will include
management of GIS-service contracts  and some network administration of
department's GIS system.  Knowledge of remote sensing data, Windows NT; Sun
SparcStation/Unix workstations; ERDAS and ESRI products highly desirable.
Familiarity with forestry or environmental issues recommended but not required.
 Salary commensurate with experience.  Position to be filled ASAP.
