*Map of Iran Takht-e Soleiman completion soon*

LONDON, November 9 (IranMania) - A French mapmaking company, Jizman,
winner of a tender for cartography of Takht-e Soleiman archeological
site in West Azarbaijan province, has already completed mapping some
1,350 hectares of the site.

The largest and most beautiful fire-temple dating back to the Sassanid
Era (224-651 AD) is located at Takht-e Soleiman archeological complex,
according to CHN.

This fire-temple was in use for several centuries and a very mysterious
fountain runs alongside the Takht-e Soleiman Lake.

The existence of both fire and water in the temple indicated that the
Sassanians worshipped both of them.

Manager of Takht-e Soleiman project said that floor plans of different
sections of this ancient edifice, including architectural remains of
Belqis fortification, prison wall and ancient stone quarries have
already been completed.

The map drawn up by Jizman also shows the development process of the
villages surrounding Takht-e Soleiman.
