Subject: Gale's response to missing pages from their 1999 schedule G
Sender: [log in to unmask]

Michael Reade of Gale Group contacted me about the missing pages from Gale's
1999 edition of the "G" schedule. The pages missing are the "special
instructions" used to build call numbers for maps and atlases. Mr. Reade
said Gale will send the missing pages to all Gale LC schedule subscribers as
either a separate section or as a reprinted edition. Since this could take
a few weeks, Mr. Reade suggested that the 1998 edition of Gale's "G"
schedule could be used, since there were no changes for the 1999 edition.
