For an amusing exercise, try passing the English-to-French (or
any language) translation back to english again through Babelfish
and see how "rough" rough really is. In other words, Babelfish is
not bad for reading text, but it's got a ways to go before you
can use it to compose text in other languages using anything but
the simple present and past tense!

(But it's certainly better than nothing, and it is an impressive
little tool!)

But I wish it could do Latin so I could read those little
inscriptions on the old maps...
